Get your bearingsOn arrival
Agree where to meet after changing, then check any treatment opening you actually want before settling into the pools. If you have an appointment, SoJo recommends reaching the facility at least an hour early. Arrival guidance
Skyline, then soakFirst stop
Visit the infinity pool for the view. If it is busy, move on to hydrotherapy or the Japanese silk bath; those were Condé Nast Traveler reviewer Meaghan Kenny’s alternatives to the crowded infinity pool. Come back when you feel like it. Read Kenny’s review
Follow your moodBetween pools
Try a sauna that appeals to both of you, or skip straight to a lounge. There is no need to complete every room. amNewYork’s firsthand visit makes the case for wandering between bathing and resting rather than treating the place like a checklist. Read the amNewYork visit
Lunch, then nothing6th floor
Eat at the Food Hall, then give yourselves an unplanned break. Save the conversation for dining and social spaces; keep the relaxation areas quiet. The outdoor grill is listed as closed for the season. Current dining options
Return to your favoriteAfternoon
Repeat the pool you liked most, or use this stretch for your one booked extra. If you arrive late, shorten the exploration and keep lunch, a favorite pool and dusk. An unhurried afternoon counts as a complete day.
Stay for the lights5:45–6:30pm
Our suggested window for a second skyline visit: sunset is about 6:02pm, with civil twilight ending around 6:30pm. Expect changing light, not a promise of clear skies. If outdoor areas close, take the pause indoors. 24 October sun calendar
